About Me

Artist: Bath, Avon, United Kingdom; Previous to my study at Bath Spa University, I did a Foundation Degree in Art and Design. Following that, I did a 2yr course in Fashion and Textiles. At the moment, I am doing a BA in Creative arts, specializing in Art and Textiles. In the production of my work, I often use mediums such as painting, photography and performance. Within Textiles, I use mediums such as Knitting, embroidery and print. My work focuses on identity, body modification, body manipulation and the processes in which people engage in, so as to transform their identity and self. I am exploring this issue by identifying the emotional traumas behind plastic surgery through photography, loosely linking, with the concept of scarification and face painting as-well as exploring ways to manipulate and change objects/the body from their original forms.

Surgery series

This are a series of photographs which embody the psychological state, people may be in after surgery. I have face-painted the models face to dipict scars which are formed by under going surgery.
