Textiles

For Textiles, I have carried on the same ideas which I am using for Art. Rather than focusing on the concept of changing and manipulating the form of objects and the body as-well as describing the emotional traumas behind plastic surgery. I have focused more on the patterns made in Scarification. I started off firstly by doing research in my sketchbooks.

I then decided to scan images of scarification which I had collected, to create my Knit patterns. After this I transferred the scarification shapes onto photoshop and manipulated them. Following this I transferred the manipulated shapes onto digital knit and manipulated them further before creating  my knitted samples.
